A major brand in the Energy market is looking for a .NET / Software Developer to help drive its development and integration of bespoke business energy tools and systems in the domain of online, windows, Back End and mobile applications. The role can be based at either the company's central London or Bracknell offices.
This organisation is looking for an ambitious professional and would consider individuals at all levels of experience who have been involved in online/mobile/Windows development projects.
Responsibilities
- Analysing business requirements with the rest of the development team
- Ensuring that businesses requirements are understood and converted into software models,
- Using cutting edge technologies in the design, development and testing of new software products
Skills Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of C# language, object oriented principles and their application in development
- Experienced web developer of ASP.Net and MVC web applications
- Windows forms development experience, especially development of highly responsive UI windows forms (experience of WPF model preferred but not essential)
- Experience of development of middleware/back-end services (hosted as Windows services, console applications or under IIS)
- Knowledge of Angular.JS and JavaScript-based UI frameworks
- Strong understanding of Entity Framework role, usage principles and LINQ querying
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL with specific experience in optimising queries on large datasets
- Knowledge of .Net restful API design
- Good understanding of AGILE development cycle
