A large hotel group with offices located in Essex is currently in search of an Accountant to join for a 9-12 month fixed term contract.

Assisting the Finance Director, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• reconciling supplier statements;
• processing weekly payments;
• reconciling multi-currency bank accounts;
• preparing VAT Returns;
• preparing monthlymanagement accounts;
• carrying out month end processes, including preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments;
• cash flow forecasting and analysis;
• P&L reporting and analysis;
• preparing variance analysis reports;
• assisting with year end audit;
• other ad hoc tasks as required.

A backgroud in hotels/hospitality would be ideal but is not necessary. Experience of the above or similar will be necessary as you will be expected to hit the ground running. You must be able to commit for a period of 9-12 months.
