Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Nominal, Creditor & Debtor Ledgers
- Aiding Preparation of accounts to trial balance
- Posting Invoices to Supplier Ledgers & timely payment of same
- Posting of Debtor receipts to appropriate ledgers
- Cash flow Management
- Bank Reconciliations
- PAYE, VAT & RCT returns where applicable
- Preparation of weekly, monthly & quarterly management reports on Excel
- Sales Support invoicing, credit adjustments, customer account reconciliations
- Customer Accounts monthly retro, credit control.
- Preparation of Audit files for audits at year end and liaising with auditors during audit period
- Support in all general accounts up to and including Balance Sheet a/c reconciliations
- Reporting to and liaising with company department managers on a regular basis
- Payroll HR support
- weekly , monthly reporting & kpis
- Internal control and process improvements & Documentation update
- Update of Departments KPI's & weekly updates to Finance Manager
Key Skills:
- The ideal candidate should be an Accounting Technician or part qualified Accountant
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as a strong team player
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and deal positively and professionally with difficult situations which
- may arise
- Advanced knowledge of other Windows applications i.e. Word, Outlook
- Prior experience with Navision or a similar software would be an distinct advantage but is not essential
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skill
