A well established, Oxford University spin out, is working with Marks Sattin on a Accounts Assistant position. The role has become available due to an internal promotion, and would suit an individual who is looking to join a company who provides service for excellence. The company has witnessed double digit growth over the last 3 years and has a particular focus on the US healthcare market.

Key responsibilities, but not limited too:

  • Recording OIL purchase orders, purchase deliveries, invoices, employee expenses and the company's credit cards accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of payment runs in accordance with the payments timetable
  • Assistance with a variety of quarterly and annual audit-related tasks
  • Assistance with other month, quarter and year-end tasks and reconciliations as required
  • Provision of cover for other Accounts functions/roles as required

Technical skills and abilities

  • Educated to at least sixth form level
  • Preferably AAT part qualified
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Comfortable working with accounting software packages
  • Good command of spoken and written Eng
