Marks Sattin are working with an industry leading FMCG organisation to recruit an up and coming Purchase Ledger clerk into their Finance team.

With a competitive salary and fantastic benefits including discount on their excellent products this is a really great opportunity for a candidate with aspirations of great development within the finance field.

The Role:

- Ownership for the efficient processing of supplier invoices, credit notes and other transactions onto the purchase ledger

- Matching invoices to purchase orders, investigating any discrepancies

- Liaising with purchasing teams to ensure timely payment authorisation

- Managing supplier statements, reconciling accounts

- Preparing and obtaining authorisation for payment runs

The Ideal Candidate:

- 1 year of purchase ledger experience

- Intuitive and investigative personality

- Strong system skills, particularly Excel

- Excellent mannerisms, ensuring supplier relations will remain strong

Great organisational skills, able to manage time efficiently
