Marks Sattin are currently working exclusively with our client, based towards Leeds Bradford Airport, to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. You will have all-round accounts experience, preferably knowledge of Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, VAT returns and experience using Sage. They are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running in the role and who wishes to progress in their career.

The Role:

• Process high volumes of Purchase Ledger invoices
• Query resolution
• Process payment runs
• Statement reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Ad-hoc accounts administration
• Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts where required
• Cover credit control where necessary

The Person:

• You must have experience in Bank Reconciliations and Purchase Ledger
• Experience in VAT returns, Management Accounts and Credit Control is preferable but not essential
• Experience using Sage Line 50 is desirable
• Ability to raise high-volumes of invoices
• Be willing to study, or part-way through, their AAT
