This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FMCG company in an Accounts Assistant role, based in the heart of London. The role will initially be a 3 month contract, with the possiblity of then being made permanent.

The key duties of the role are as follows:

• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
• Month End Routine : Accruals, Prepayments, Payroll, Stock valuation and Adjustment, Fixed Asset Register, Depreciation, Internet sales reconciliation and other revenue recognition.
• Bank reconciliation in different currencies, Company cards and Petty Cash reconciliation.
• P&L and BS reconciliation.
• Year-end accounts preparation.
• Responsible for the weekly rolling Cash Flow, Yearly Budget and monthly variances analysis with commentary.
• Quarterly Royalties calculation for licenced products.
• Preparation of weekly trading report with analysis of sales by channel, brand and regional area, best sellers, discount and returns, with commentary.
