A growing luxury retail brand are currently looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their head office finance team in Central London.

Reporting into the Management Accountant you be responsible for:

- Accounts receivable

Raising of invoices, updating range plan and invoice control sheet, inputting invoices SAGE, cash receipts posting in SAGE, Invoice distribution.

- Account payable

Assist in posting of supplier invoices

- Monthly bank account and PayPal reconciliation.

- Revenue -

Stores and concession receipts journal entry preparation and posting to SAGE

Store sales report weekly reconciliation

Stores cash register reconciliation

E-commerce sales monthly journal entries

Monthly Wholesale COGS postings

- Payroll file preparation

To assist the management accountant with payroll file preparation - computation of payroll commissions for stores staff

Reconciling time sheet vs People HR monthly records

- Payment run

Preparation of weekly payment run file and ensuring all invoices are approved.

- Fixed assets

Recording of depreciation and maintaining register

- Ad hoc duties when required.

Working hours are 9am to 6pm

Holiday provision is standard 20 days + bank holidays

The successful candidate will be studying towards their AAT, ideally level 3 and will have worked in a similar position.
