Accounts Assistant

A leading FMCG company based in Chiswick are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a growing team on a short term basis. The role will start as a temporary role 4 month contract with a chance of being extended based on performance and growth within the company. They are looking for a bright, talented individual with a real can do attitude looking to process further in their career.

Duties/Skills:

• Managing the Sales and Purchase Ledger book for the UK and US Company, including raising invoices on QuickBooks, resolving queries and overseeing credit control.
• Assisting with Month end reporting
• Acting as the administrative contact for our US Importer (MHW) including approving pricing on distributor orders and monitoring promotional invoices from USA distributors.
• Assisting in the preparation of the cash flow file and inputting costs data on the daily running costs, and sales receipts.
• Creation and maintenance of Cost of Goods on QuickBooks for our different whisky products.
• Checking and approving supplier invoices, including dry goods, freight and mature whisky invoices.
• Monitoring and reconciling monthly sales reporting.
• Reconciliation and reporting of expenses and credit cards for all UK and US employees.
• Other ad hoc activities as required

Requirements:

• Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience Required: 1+ years in a Finance function
• Excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience of QuickBooks an advantage.
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
