A new and exciting Accounts Payable Analyst role with a Financial services business within their accountancy team, based in the heart of London. This is a junior level role within a high quality Finance function bringing opportunity to develop key Finance skills and progress through the Finance function over time.

Accounts payable Analyst requirements

• Have a degree minimum 2:1
• 3 A levels grade C or above
• Previous experience in accounts payable role
• Studying towards ACCA/CIMA

Accounts payable duties:

• Responsibility for ensuring data entry is accurate and commentary is of high quality and in agreement with prescribed requirements of Management Accounting team

• Checking that expenses and credit card transactions are within company policy and that all invoices, expense claim transactions and travel invoices are authorised by the appropriate cost centre manager.
• Daily receipt and logging of supplier invoices and employee expenses across a number of jurisdictions and various currencies.
• Distribution and subsequent tracking of invoices and employee expenses through the internal authorisation process.
