Are you an experienced purchase ledger clerk or bank reconciliation assistant looking to take a step up in your career? Or maybe you're looking to develop your skills on a more technical level?

I'm working with a leading name in the Insurance Industry that are on the lookout for a purchase ledger clerk to a join a fast pace growing environment.

Where you fit in…

You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.

Role:

  • Responsible for the reconciliation and maintenance of accounts for allocated members
  • Action and resolve queries effectively that may arise from payments, reconciliations or the cashbook reconciliation
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, initiating ideas to develop the reconciliation processes and controls
  • Identification and prevention, where possible of CASS breaches
  • Other administrative duties as assigned i.e., Scanning, Indexing an filing
  • Effective and appropriate communication at all levels with internal and external stakeholders

What you need?

You'll need to have a strong understanding of bank reconciliation with a familiarity of working on a variety of computer systems. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to engage with key stakeholders across multiple sites and locations. The ability to use your own initiative and attention to details is must while having a hardworking, proactive and positive approach. The ideal candidate will have an accounting qualification and have the ability to manipulate complex sets of data, however this is not essential.
