A large FMCG business located in Central London is currently in search of an Accounts Payable Controller to join ASAP on an initial 3 month basis.

Typical duties will include the following:

• processing weekly invoices for payment (approx 50-100 per week);
• preparing weekly payment runs including manual ad hoc payments where necessary;
• preparing weekly bank reconciliations and making adjustments where ncessary;
• creating new supplier accounts and assisting with supplier payment queries;
• raising PO numbers and matching to invoices where required;
• assisting with month end close of general ledger;
• assisting with month end journals;
• assisting with accruals and prepayments;
• other ad hoc tasks may also be required.

Strong Excel is desirable (pivot tables, v look ups, sumifs, etc). Also, some practical experience within accounts payable is essential.
