An award winning Legal firm are actively looking to appoint an Accounts Payable clerk to join their busy finance team based in Central London.

With offices across the globe, this well respected Law firm work with a wide range of listed and private companies including some of the worlds leading banks.

Reporting directly into the Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be responsible for

Duties include:

• Posting supplier invoices and checking invoices are coded correctly to the general ledger
• Processing payment requests on a daily basis for ad hoc payments and weekly supplier payment runs via BACS.
• Reconciliation of supplier account statements
• Production of Office and Client account cheques
• Allocation of Office receipts
• Bank reconciliations for Client Account and USD/Euro client and office accounts on a daily basis.
• Petty cash and foreign currency ordering and reconciliations
• Ad hoc duties when requested.

The successful candidate MUST have strong purchase ledger and Legal cashiering experience.

Ideally will come from a legal background and have knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
