An exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager has just become available at a recognised business within the Construction industry based in Hull. Reporting in to the Financial Controller this role offers an excellent opportunity for a real challenge and to build a long-term career.
About the Accounts Payable Manager role:
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function, consisting of 7 AP Assistants, whilst also providing a high quality service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager role:
- Day to day managing of the AP function
- Reviewing month end statements and producing month end reports.
- Review and investigate monthly KPIs to ensure maximised performance.
- Assist with process improvement to aid efficiencies within the payments team.
- Understanding the workings of the AP systems
This role would suit a strong, confident leader that has previous experience of managing Accounts Payable teams. You will also possess good time management and organisation skills to meet strong objectives.
Experience of working in a similar role within the construction/services industry is a must, you will have worked with other departments and be able to build relationships both internally and externally as well as having excellent attention to detail.
