Accounts Senior - Practice

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000

Location: Manchester City Centre

Hours: 9:00 - 5:30 (flexi time available)

A specialist accounting practice based in the City Centre Manchester is looking for a qualified accountant to join there continuously growing team. Your function is to help shape the growth of clients businesses through monthly management accounts, budgets, tax planning, quarterly review meetings, the successful candidate will have a say in the long term goals of clients business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not restricted to:

• Manage all aspects of your Client Portfolio
• Support and developing the Semi-Senior Accountants
• Utilise outsourced work options
• Manage your workload: Planning and managing tasks to ensure the client and business priorities are achieved in a timely manner
• Strong understanding of tax planning
• Experience using cloud based software preferably Xero (and prepared to become Xero certified)

• Acquire and apply knowledge of Digital Creative Industry

Key Requirements:

• ACCA Qualified
• Experience in working in an accounting practice
• Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills
• Skilled and effective communicator
• Able to remain resilient when faced with challenging situations
• Ability to delegate work effectively when required
• Able to adapt to changes in systems and technology whilst having the ability to challenge new ideas
