This specialist asset manager are searching for a qualified chartered accountant to join their fund finance and operations team in London in a forward facing senior role.

The company in question is a global business; dealing in private debt, credit and equity. They are market leaders in this space and have built a high performing fund team within the business.

The role would see you take ownership of two key areas:

  • Day to day performance calculations and investor reporting:
    • Responding to and developing processes around investor queries and investor relations demands.
    • Preparation of fund analysis including drafting the fund investment performance reports for the portfolio managers.
    • Calculation of fund IRR's.

  • Fund operations, portfolio investments and fund performance:
    • Ongoing and ad hoc analysis of Fund performance, calculation of Fund IRR's and other Fund performance measures.
    • Enhancing the bridging facilities and FX assistance, including advising on nature of contracts.
    • Management of fund cash & treasury positions, including assisting in developing and monitoring counterparty exposure.

On top of this there will be a heavy focus on ad hoc including data focused projects for the raising of new funds and the opportunity to help with fund raising efforts in future.

The successful candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with at least 5 years post qualified experience who has fund accounting, audit, analysis or administration background within private equity or debt. Ideally you will have modelling experience and be able to demonstrate ability to work with large volumes of data.

Remuneration in the region of £80,000 to £85,000 with strong discretionary bonus and other benefits.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at senior manager level within the big4 to leverage off their time in professional services, securing a forward facing and analytical role within a fantastic business.
