Analyst, Fund Finance | Private Equity

Permanent role paying between £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience plus excellent bonus and benefits package.

One of the world's leading private equity fund managers are looking to add to their fund finance team in a position dedicated to working on various deal support, accounting, tax, fundraising, structuring and other investor service related functions across some of their high-performing funds.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fund Operations
    • Ensure fund is in compliance with Limited Partnership Agreement
    • Draft capital call, distribution notices
    • Manage cash needs, including coordinating use of fund facility and managing drawing and repaying loan balances including ensuring fund is in compliance with facility covenants
    • Assist with the valuation process with deal team
    • Calculate IRRs and other financial reporting metrics
    • Preparation of various regulatory filings
  • Investor Relations
    • Ensure all LP requests are answered
    • Assist with the fundraising process, including the drafting and printing of PPMs, drafting pitch books, reviewing and drafting due diligence questionnaires, and working with counsel on drafting LPA and negotiating with LPs
  • Financial Reporting
    • Quarterly reporting: Review Financial statements, capital account statements prepared by Partnership Accounting
    • Coordinate drafting of quarterly investor updates (bluebooks)
    • Prepare quarterly budgets/reforecasts
  • Fund Structuring
    • Work with lawyers to set up legal structure of the deals
    • Assist in incorporating the legal entities for the deal structure
    • Assist in reviewing limited partnership agreements
    • Assist with ensuring entity management system is current for legal documents and
    • amendments
    • Assist with winding up of legacy funds/partnerships
    • Work closely with the Luxembourg operations team (legal and accounting)
  • Ad hoc projects:
    • Collation of portfolio company information for regulatory purposes
    • Legal & Compliance review

In terms of candidate you will be a qualified accountant with experience within fund accounting - ideally from within Private Equity but debt or real estate experience will be considered. You must be detail oriented with superb interpersonal skills.

Remuneration is relatively open depending on candidate background but in the region of £60,000 to £75,000 base salary.
