An opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Junior Accounting Professional to join a Scientific US company in West Reading.

The position would suit a candidate who has a strong track record of exceeding tasks.

Main Functions:

• Preparation of management accounts for a recently acquired UK and Ireland subsidiaries, including balance sheet and profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Responsible for local statutory filing and working with external tax advisors
• Responsible for completing corporation tax returns
• Responsible for carrying out intercompany reconciliations

Job Requirements

• Currently studying for CIMA or ACCA qualifications and considered to be at or close to Part Qualified.
• Qualifications achieved so far will ideally have been studied alongside working in a financial role which complements the studies for at least 1 year.
• Familiarity with accounting processes and current accounting standards
