A Great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a market leader as a result of an internal promotion. Based in state of the art offices with an onsite gym, this could be a great opportunity for someone to make their mark. The primary purpose of the Assistant Accountant is to ensure the smooth processing of the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting processes, to enable the accurate and timely production of quarterly management accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scan, input and match invoices and payments in SAGE (GBP & EUR).
• Accurate forecasting of cash movements
• Weekly preparation of cashflow summary notes for the FC
• Act as a point of contact for our outsourced functions.
• Preparation and email distribution of quarterly investor statements.

You will be well versed in debits and credits, you will need a solid understanding of the mechanics behind the numbers. This is a professional working environment and as such, you should be comfortable in communicating with employees at all levels and confident in your own ability. Candidates should be interested in learning new skills, study support shall be on offer for those wishing to pursue an accounting qualification.
