A boutique international investment manager is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support investment activities for their growing client base of institutions, family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior accountant to join a reputable company and be heavily involved from day one. They are a global business but the finance team solely sits within the London office, therefore you will get exposure to London, Boston, New York City, Singapore and Hong Kong entities.

They are looking for an aspiring accountant who is committed building their future career by completing either the ACCA or CIMA qualification. In return, they will provide full study support towards this.

They are looking for someone who is a team player, confident and has good communication skills as there will be daily interaction with senior stakeholders.

As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Input of all monthly accounting data including journal entries, supplier and customer invoices
• Preparation of customer and group internal invoices
• Credit control and supplier reconciliations
• Assistance with regulatory returns
• Maintenance of the firms employee expenses system including the processing of expenses
• Assisting with UK, US, SG and HK Audits
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with regulatory filing

Requirements for the role:

• Must have at least a 2.1 degree from a top 50 University
• Must have between 6months and 18 months experience working within a finance department (can also include a placement year if you are a 2020 graduate)
• Must have a minimum of BBB at A-Level and achieved an A in GSCE maths
