An asset manager is looking for an assistant accountant to join initially on an 8 month contract. This is due to some restructuring within the finance department.

The assistant accountant will be reporting into the financial controller working closely with the management accountant assisting with quarterly management accounts.

Main responsibilities will include

• Quarterly management accounting
• Fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Prepayments and accruals
• Providing reports and analysis

Requirements:

• You will be part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent or finalist
• Experience using SAP is desirable
• Working in professional services is preferable
