A UK leading healthcare and legal services business based in central London is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for month end reconciliations including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, posting month end journals including accruals an prepayment, treasury and cash management and more. You will also be responsible for providing analytical reports to management, so strong Excel skills are a must in able to draw findings from large data sets.

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in finance with lots of reconciliation experience. The successful applicant will have strong systems experience, excellent organisation skills and good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with co-workers and senior management. This role would suit candidates who are studying towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA.
