We are currently recruiting for a permanent position based in the Coventry area which require an Assistant Accountant to join the Accounts team. This is an ideal role for someone that is looking to immerse themselves in a hands-on accounts role and advance their career within the Financial Services industry. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

The duties within this role will vary however core responsibilities will be:

Participate in the annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting process

Reviewing P&L's and reporting on variances

Accruals & prepayments

Regularly reviewing expenses

Balance sheet reconciliations

Assisting in prep for audits

Speaking to shareholders about budgets

Assisting finance team with any ad hoc duties

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

AAT Qualified/Part Qualified

Strong Attention To Detail

Previous Accounts Experience

Strong IT Skills (Excel, Sage, Word)

Ability To Meet Deadlines
