A leading technology business based in South London are looking to bring on an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-paced finance team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a team of 6, you will be responsible for providing accurate regulatory cash flow reporting and bank reconciliations.

Duties include:

• Daily cash regulatory reporting and main point of contact for queries and discrepancies.
• Weekly cash flow reporting with reconciliations to bank account.
• Daily posting of P&L and cash book activity to the sage financial system.
• Daily reconciliation of client bank accounts using internal and external methods in accordance to CASS rules.
• Assisting with month end processes - including reconciliation of spread and fixed odds income.
• Second point of contact for supplier queries and cover for when Accounts Assistant is not available.
• Liaising with the wider business to report on significant projects.
• Reconciliation of petty cash, sundry debtors and payment providers.
• Monthly reporting of dormant companies.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified preferable in Accountancy & Finance and have over a years experience in a similar role.

Candidates must have strong excel skills - V-lookups, Pivot tables.

Sage experience is advantageous
