Marks Sattin are exclusively working with a Global mining and exploration company based in Central London in recruiting for a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible the following:

• Processing invoices and payments in the accounting systems
• Processing and reconciling monthly cash payments and returns from exploration projects
• Compiling and preparing monthly cash requirements for exploration projects
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group management and financial reports

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2:1 degree and should be part Qualified ACCA/CIMA .

Experience of Sage line 50. and Excel to an intermediate standard - Pivot tables/V-Lookups is desirable.
