Assistant Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an ambitious funds administrator business who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their well-established team in the heart of London.

My client are a well company established and award winning fund admin is known for providing the highest quality services to real estate, debt, infrastructure and private equity sectors operating not only in London But Jersey, Guernsey, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York, Luxembourg, Hong Kong Singapore and Guernsey.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing bank reconciliations for all client accounts

- Updating the financial system (SUN Accounts) for all transaction related activity including the recording of sales and purchase invoices

- Preparation and amendment of management accounts

- Administration work including the preparation of call notices, distribution notices and dealing with new applications for subscriptions into client funds

• Bookkeeping & journal postings

The ideal candidate will be:

• Graduate with Min 2:1
• Minimum of 3 C's at A level
• Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Previous accounting experience
• Intermediate to advance Excel skills are required for this role and exposure to SUN accounts or a similar accounting package is also key.
