Really excited to be recruiting for one of Britains best loved brands in their search for an assistant finance business partner.

The successful candidate will take on this exciting opportunity to support across a broad range of duties including month end accounting, year-end audit, providing clear insight in to factory performance, building key relationships and ensuring the business can react quickly to new challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a recent Graduate, qualified AAT or working their way towards CIMA/ACCA, with a strong understanding of management accounting and excellent communication/business partnering skills, with the confidence to liaise with individuals at varying levels.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Monthly management accounts preparation
• Assisting in year-end audit
• Providing a wide range of reporting to support understanding of business performance
• Provide pre and post calculations / analysis to aid in business decisions
• Accountable for all product costings
• Keep the company systems up to date with product updates, new product launches, costs etc.
• Project involvement with company-wide process changes and improvements
• Forecasting for the Group
• Ad-hoc project work and analysis
• Build strong working relationships between Finance and the wider business

About you:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Experience working within manufacturing/factory (desirable)
• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.
• Part Qualified - CIMA/ACCA (desirable)
• Excellent time management skills
• Confident communicator - ability to build strong working relationships
• Strong level of attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently or as a team
