A specialist Retail and Commercial bank, considered to be one of the best in their continent are looking to recruit a Part Qualified ACCA accountant to support the Financial Accountant and wider Finance team. Their operations comprise of 4 business units, Trade Finance, Commercial Banking, Asset Management and Treasury.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong PQ accountant.

Your Responsibilities:

- assist with the preparation of half year and full year group reporting packs

- assist with the preparation of statutory accounts

- assist with the development of the Banks' IFRS impairment model

- preparation and submission of corporation tax returns

- assisting with the preparation of monthly and mid-monthly profitability reports for the various business units with adequate supporting variance analysis

- collating, modelling, interpreting, analysing and explaining variances and trends for finance reports

Requirements:

- Educated to Degree level

- Part Qualified ACCA or ACA accountant

- Previous experience in the Banking industry or wider Financial Services (regulated firms only)
