Marks Sattin is looking for a qualified accountant to join a rapidly growing Central London based global company. This role is involved in all areas of operational finance and although seeking a technically proficient candidate the role will also contain a broad range of responsibilities amongst managing multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships across wider business and finance structure
• Help ensure firm compliance with policies and procedures
• Facilitate process improvement and drive standardization of reporting and analysis.
• Support in the month end process
• Partner with Customer Services on ad hoc projects.
• Assist in project work and change management
• Support in the preparation of all Statutory Reporting

• Participate in local and global cross-finance / cross-functional projects.

Key Requirements

• Qualified UK accountant
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP - knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
• Good knowledge of UK taxation and compliance.
• Good networking and influencing skills - ability to manage a variety of stakeholders at all levels is essential
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Good understanding of Oracle ERP or equivalent ERP system.
