Start your job searchAn award winning media publishing business is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy finance division based in London. This company boasts a prestigious and high profile clientele, and serve content across a range of platforms from print to digital apps.
The main responsibilities of this position will be producing monthly reports, variance analysis and annual budgets and forecasting for their assigned division. They will also be dealing directly with key stakeholders to improve balance sheet management and review processes, and will be expected to fulfil appropriate ad hoc work whilst reporting to the Financial Controller.
The successful candidate will be working towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) and must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar environment. They must be familiar with basic accounting concepts, systems and processes, understand financial software and have strong Excel skills. Any background in the media industry would be beneficial but not essential. This candidate must be driven, resourceful, and be an approachable communicator.
