Start your job searchOur client, an instantly recognisable, market leading business in their field, are currently searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their high achieving Finance team.
Reporting to one of the Sector Finance Managers this role is part of a team of 4 and will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing the management accounts for a specific division, liaising with departmental managers and producing associated commentary/analysis
- Liaising with the Divisional Director to achieve reporting deadlines
- Ensuring month end journals are completed within strict timeframes
- Reviewing capex and maintenance costs
- Assist in the preparation for year-end audits and dealing with external auditors
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Taking part in ad hoc projects affecting the finance function as and when required
This is an unusual opportunity to join the business at this level as they usually promote from within. They are keen to find a highly ambitious Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Accountant eager to gain exposure around all aspects of Management Accounting who will then be ready for a more Senior Accounting role within 2/3 years.
