Salary - £22,000 - 28,000 + Study Support
Exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant to join a world leader in the FMCG sector.
You will want to work for FTSE organisation which operates across the globe, and will already have a really strong background in Financial Accounting. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, with a dotted line in to the Financial Controller, you'll be a really important part of this team and you'll be responsible for the following on a day to day basis:
- Assisting in all aspects of financial reporting and controls
- Liaising with other transactional finance divisions including purchase ledger and credit control in order to collate necessary MI
- Managing volume bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Handling intercompany reconciliations
- Posting bank and other transactions including FX related entries
- Assisting in the completion of monthly UK VAT return
- Assisting in intercompany charges across the wider group
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts for presentation at year end
