Audit & Accounts Senior

Location: Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

A hugely successful Accountancy firm in Manchester is currently seeking a highly motivated, bright, and driven qualified candidate to join their energetic team in Manchester. This is the perfect opportunity for an ACCA or ACA qualified candidate with extensive experience working in a practice environment.

This is the perfect opportunity to gain exposure to a varied client base and a diverse role. The Audit and Accounts Senior role will be around 70% audit based but a strong accounting knowledge will be needed in order to take control of some of compliance based work.

You will be involved in the management, planning and conduct of audit work within the practice as well as leading on a number of significant audit jobs.

Main responsibilities include;

• Reporting directly to the Audit partner and carrying out audit work from planning through to completion
• Accounts preparation for Limited companies and sole traders
• Reviewing the work of more junior members of staff
• Taking full responsibility for the day to day audit process

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with a number of years' experience working within the audit & assurance department of a fast moving accountancy firm.
