Semi - Senior Accountant

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

A hugely successful Accountancy firm in Manchester is currently seeking a highly motivated, bright, and driven part qualified candidate to join their energetic team in Manchester.

If you are currently studying towards your professional qualifications (ACA or ACCA) and have previous experience working in a practice firm, then this could be the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your professional services career. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with month and year end accounts, corporation tax returns, bookkeeping and completing VAT for clients.

This position comes at a very exciting time for the firm; they are continually growing and have just won multiple big contracts, so this is a hugely exciting time to join! The successful candidate will need to take control of multiple portfolios for a range of Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing of financial statements for Limited Companies
• Preparing of partnerships and sole traders accounts
• Preparing of quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing and filing annual returns and PSC confirmation statements to Companies House
• Preparing personal, corporation and partnership tax returns
• Liaising with clients and HMRC
• Managing a portfolio for a wide range of clients
• Maintaining and developing client relationships, both by written communication and conducting face to face meetings.
