A global Investment Bank with a diversified trading book recruiting for an experienced Balance Sheet controller to take on a Senior Manager role within the business. This position will progress to the Head of Balance Sheet reporting in 2-3 years with a succession plan in place.

Working with the UK and a European entity you will be responsible for:

Balance Sheet & Liquidity Management

- responsible for analysis and interpretation of UK financial results and responding to new reporting requirements

- lead and coordinate all balance sheet analytics

- working with the regulatory and treasury teams to understand new requirements and impact to the balance sheet

ALCO Support

- ensure the effective management of the balance sheet including funding, liquidity and market risks during ALCO meetings

- play a role as a Secretariat that includes attending ALCO meetings, preparing and presenting papers to ALCO

Requirements

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA)

- Strong Balance Sheet control experience

- Trading book experience is essential

- past experience as a product controller is desirable
