An opportunity to join a market leading organisation based in York as a Bank Reconciliation Clerk. On an ongoing temporary basis until at least March 2020, you will assist this welcoming and energetic team to reconcile the banks through a change in financial systems. They are currently using both Sage 200 and Navision, experience with neither is essential but could be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will be immediately available or on 1 weeks' notice. Duties are as follows:

-Download bank statements and other financial information from our banks internet sites.

-Uploading and manual input of bank statements into system.

-Investigations and follow up of all non-reconciled items or variances between the bank statement and cashbook entries.

-Ensure all bank statement items in the bank reconciliations are cleared within two working days.

-Ensure all cashbook credit (receipt) items in the bank reconciliation are cleared within two working days.

-Processing of returned unpaid cheques and out of date cheques.

-Opening and Closing designated deposit accounts and performing monthly reconciliations.

-Liaise with banks and auditors.

-Reconciliation of petty cash.
