Our client based in High Wycombe are looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Assistant to join their firm and support their expansion. They are a prestigious, well established firm who have a great reputation in the local market.

Daily duties will include:

• Client bookkeeping on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Posting of wage and pension journals
• Maintaining client relationships, occasional client site visits will be required
• Process end to end payrolls on a fortnightly, monthly and annual basis
• Process statutory payments such as maternity & paternity pay, sick pay etc
• Process tax code changes and producing P45's
• Complete year end processes such as P60's
• General payroll administration

Previous experience in a practice environment is advantageous. Cloud accounting package knowledge is a must, including Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow, SageOne, Sage Payroll etc
