The Role

We are looking for someone who can fit into our tight-knit and dynamic technical team. They will be responsible for the customisation and build of our solutions, as specified by our consultants, tailored to the specific and varying needs of our customers across a wide range of industry sectors. Once the solution is built and tested, they will install the system onto the customer's site. Obviously, at the moment, this is undertaken remotely.

Our customers have complex, high volume, financial systems so the candidate must have a high attention to detail and a determination to do the job right, first time.

For this role, the candidate will work from our modern central Reading office which is located a short 5-minute walk from Reading's very well-connected train station.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in close collaboration with the consultants and, utilising their bespoke scripting / development tools, build each customer's tailored solution from the technical specifications produced by the consult
• Static and dynamic testing of the built solution to ensure it fully meets all the documented requirements.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• 2+ years experience of scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell or Perl
• A good understanding of REST APIs such as GET and POST as well as experience of using Cryptography
• A good understanding of SQL queries such as SELECT, GROUP BY, HAVING etc
• Working knowledge of other internet services including SOAP and sFTP.
