The purpose of this position outside of the BAU is to partner with the operational and financial leadership of the business. This will involve identification of process deficiencies, KPI development and establish effective communications between finance and operations.

The post holder will be highly analytical and commercial in there mindset, coupled with this will possess the desire to action the below BAU whilst developing the function.

The preparation of the monthly business accounts from information received from the subsidiaries using Excel and BOF (Consolidation system).

Production of monthly commentaries on subsidiary and holdings performance

Answering shareholder dept enquiries on financial performance.

Preparation of budgets, forecasts and 3 year financial plans using information from the subsidiaries.

Liaison with subsidiary reporting accountants to improve continuously the quality of financial information received to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Control of additional quarterly, half year and full year reporting requirements for relevant entities.

Assisting with the board reporting process for holding and subsidiaries.

Liaison with external auditors, including the preparation of half year and year end working papers.

We are looking for:

Qualified accountant

Excellent analytical mindset

Ability to identify and improve process deficiencies

A rounded technical financial competence (Minimum Part-qualified)

High level of Excel competence.

Accounting systems knowledge.

Financial analysis and problem solving.
