Outstanding Opportunity - Leading Retail business that owns a number of well-known brands requires an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst / Database Developer to drive data for increased operational capability & competitive advantage. In this unique opportunity you will effectively be the company data steward or data custodian as you are the IT lead responsible for implementing & operating the policies & requirements of the data owners (Directors & Senior Management) across this retail business.

Expertise & Responsibilities

‒ Experience as Business Intelligence Analyst, Database Developer, BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer, Data Manager, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, BI Manager, Business Intelligence Manager, Data Lead, Data Consultant, BI Consultant, data steward, data custodian, data architect or similar

‒ Experience in

• data governance/data lifecycle management
• data management/data quality/master data management
• data architecture/data modelling
• data protection & information security
• data/business analysis and data manipulation
• Experience using SQL Sever using tools such as SSIS and SSAS
• Experience with SSRS advantageous

‒ Translate data requirements into data, technology & process changes, with responsible for ongoing management/maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) Data Repository.

‒ Ensure the effective management & maintenance of capabilities delivered by the BI Project, ensuring these can be built upon as company data needs to develop & mature

‒ Allow company to transition from data architect contractors who are delivering the BI Project to an ongoing operational capability.
