The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting provider guidance, legislative, funding & contractual requirements and developing fit for purpose processes, guidance and appropriate and effective communications to the organisation.
Day-to-day duties will also involve conducting a schedule of activity, resource development, on boarding new contracts, reviewing existing provision, periodic review of practice, ensuring continuous improvement is fostered and embedded and ensuring that both direct and supply chain delivery is supported equally.
Resource design, process design, using MI, reporting and presenting to the business along with managing relationships are key components of the role.
Essential Requirements
- Exposure and understanding of contractual requirements within provision/services commissioned by government bodies.
- Ability to interrogate guidance and interpret contractual requirements.
- Experience of the design of detailed guidance and procedural documentation.
- Ability to design processes which offer a quick reference view of guidance documentation.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, performance target driven environment.
- Demonstrable experience of management of multiple (in tandem) projects.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Visio and Word; and intermediate knowledge of other Office packages.
- Ability to influence, motivate and engage with other parties.
- Ability to exercise critical but balanced judgments in identifying problems and to present effective practical and potential original solutions.
- Demonstrable experience of being able to absorb complex information quickly and present it in a way that can be understood by all levels within the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of business and commercial awareness.
- Shows exceptional time keeping and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Experience of working in a collaborative manner with operational teams, whilst maintaining independence, integrity and confidentiality.
Desirable
- Exposure and understanding of contractual requirements of at least DWP or ESFA provision.
- First degree qualification (or equivalent) obtained in a literate and analytical discipline.
- Experience of IT systems design and implementation.
- Understanding to compliance, audit, or quality functions with high profile Government
