Leading brand in the Consumer Goods space is looking for a Business Unit Controller to own the Financial Accounting, Control and Reporting for the UK Business (£1Bn+). This role forms part of the Senior Finance Leadership team and will be responsible for a team of 6, with additional support from the offshore SSC.

Within the role, you will play a pivotal part in laying down new measures to improve accuracy, identifying improvements within the periodic close process and focus upon transformational change. Working Capital is key, so you will need be well versed in Cash management and work with the wider business to ensure numbers are hit.

You will be ACA/ACMA (equivalent with 8+ yrs PQE), with a demonstrable track record in coaching and motivating a team of Qualified accountants. You will be full conversant with IFRS and GAAP, with a very strong technical background.
