An innovative PE Backed financial services business, which provides a valuable service to both private and corporate clients, is seeking a commercial CFO. Working alongside the CEO to make crucial strategic decisions, you will be joining as a key member of the board. Providing a high level of commercial vision to support a swift growth period, you will be instrumental in helping to guide the business through to an eventual Exit.

As the CEO's right hand, the CFO will have overall responsibility for the finance function and a strong presence in professionalising, leading and implementing controls, processes and procedures to drive growth for the business. With a broad remit across the business you will be instrumental to enhancing governance and reporting ahead of a potential Exit.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), who has been a hands-on entrepreneurial CFO with broader operational experience ideally in a PE Backed or leveraged environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will need to be able to communicate across the business. Candidates with a background in a challenger bank or related will also be considered.
