Our client a leading PE Backed technology business is seeking an insightful CFO who will become an integral part of the executive team and a true business partner to the CEO. Their key focus will be to oversee and drive a small finance team and provide high level commercial vision to support a swift growth period through a planned fundraising process ahead of a potential IPO.

A main focus of the role will be negotiating with key potential investors therefore excellent communication skills and presentation skills are required. Although the role is highly commercial, the CFO will need to roll up their sleeves in the short term by reviewing the management accounts identifying strengths and weaknesses within the business to provide insight into future opportunities for improvement.

You will have responsibility for the overall Financial management of the business including reporting, forecasting and inputting key KPIs, as well as taking the lead on all commercial and legal contract negotiation and HR.

We are looking for qualified candidates (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), with hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills, who are also commercially minded. You should have previous experience of working in similar role with proven success, ideally in a digital/technology or tech enabled business and your desire to be involved in all aspects of the business and be proactive and positive will be critical to your success. A background in fundraising and exposure to investor roadshows is desirable.
