A high profile football club is seeking a dynamic and passionate Chief Financial Officer to lead them through an exciting chapter of their growth journey. They key focus of the role is to provide financial and strategic direction as well as leadership across the club by developing and inspiring the ambitious finance team. You will have responsibility for the overall finance function and will be required to review all processes, systems, and control, and improve them as required. Working closely with the CEO and COO, it will be the CFO's responsibility to ensure the timely and accurate provision of financial information to support ongoing business operations and provide informed decisions for the club's board. Furthermore, this CFO will liaise with a number of key stakeholders, including a highly ambitious owner.

Your communication and presentation skills will be called upon as you negotiate and develop relationships with high profile stakeholders. Moreover, the successful candidate will be able to shine during great periods of change and uncertainty, and to hold their own during moments of high pressure.

Only candidates who are qualified accountants (ACA, ACMA,ACCA) will be considered for this role, preferably with sports or leisure industry experience.
