A business services company is looking to bring in a driven FD to lead them through the latter stages of a Private Equity buyout. A hands-on and experienced CFO is required to transform its finance function, preparing it for a successful exit.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing a finance function, as both a financial controller, and latterly as a finance director. You will be motivated to make an immediate impact, putting in place best-in-class management reporting, financial processes and controls, along with a high calibre finance team. This is a unique opportunity to join a business at the beginning of the private equity life cycle, and take them through an exit.

The FD will work alongside their management teams to execute project accounting while overhauling finance and IT systems, managing controls and improving reporting. Key responsibilities will include implementing accounting functions and leading the production of comprehensive strategic plans.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and have an eye for detail. Particularly, M&A, exit, integration, and due diligence experience are preferable to this role as well as a willingness to get your hands dirty. Ideally, you will be available to start at short notice or be available immediately. Divisional Finance Directors from a bigger business looking to make a step up will be considered, along with autonomous CFOs.
