An exciting and fast growing investor led B2B is seeking a hands-on and dynamic Chief Financial Officer to head up the finance function, develop and influence the finance team, and direct this dominant business through the upcoming stage of rapid growth trajectory.

This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of the financial strategy and assist the leadership team in the implementation of strategic objectives as well as new systems and processes to optimise financial performance. You will also draw on your excellent communication skills to maintain and develop treasury and bank relationships as well as effectively collaborate with operational management as part of the group management committee.

The role will involve timely and accurately producing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements as well as managing cash flow and working capital and reporting performance against budget to ensure optimal efficiency. You will also be accountable for the transformation of the credit control function and have excellent knowledge of implementing/upgrading accounting systems with overall responsibility of the review and improvement of all systems, processes and controls.

The ideal candidate will be qualified accountant (ACA,ACMA,ACCA), preferably Chartered, with experience in a high volume low margin business of scale with long term contracts and proven progression throughout their accounting career as a hands on leader.
