Our client is a PE-backed world leading digital media business which leverages its technological expertise in the media sector. They are seeking an insightful CFO who will become an integral part of the executive team and business partner to the CEO. Their key focus will be to oversee and drive a small finance team and provide high level commercial vision to support the swift growth period that will be facilitated through a planned fundraising process.

A main focus of the role will be negotiating high level contracts and deals therefore excellent communication skills and presentation skills are a necessity. Although the role is very commercial, the CFO will need to roll up their sleeves in the short term by reviewing the management accounts and identify strengths and weaknesses within the business to provide insight into future improvement opportunities.

Specific requirements:

• Overall Financial management of the business
• Reporting - financial performance, royalty reporting and forecasting, sales/marketing KPIs and performance, customer/content usage, etc.
• Taking the lead on all commercial and legal contract negotiation, including: suppliers, strategic partners.
• Taking the lead on HR
• Leading on investment/exit processes

We are looking for qualified candidates (ACA, ACMA, ACCA), with hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills, who are also commercially minded. You should have previous experience of working in similar role with proven success, ideally in digital/technology or tech enabled business and your desire to be involved in all aspects of the business and be proactive and positive will be critical to your success.
