Start your job searchAn Independent Accountancy Practice based in South Manchester are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious part qualified or qualified accountant to join their Accounts team.
Due to continued growth they are relocating to brand new offices, it is a very exciting time to join as the practice is going from strength to strength.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice and will work both autonomously and as part of a team to deliver accounting and advisory services to a range of clients.
Main Duties will include helping & supporting the Senior Client Manager and Clients Managers in managing a portfolio of clients as well as assisting in the filing deadlines for year end accounts and corporation Tax returns (CT600's) for the clients in their own pool and wider portfolio of clients. You will also be expected to manage your own pool of bookkeeping & VAT clients within the wider Client Portfolio.
Other responsibilities include preparation of year end accounts, financial statements and company, partnership and individual tax computations for clients within the portfolio. Provide support on Payroll services and preparation of payroll annual returns and P11D's. You will be using IRIS Practice Suite, Sage software and certain cloud based accounting software's on behalf of clients e.g. Liberty Accounts, Xero.
Salary up to £24,000 dependant on experience.
