Marks Sattin are currently working with a Top50 firm who are looking to expand their Accountancy offering in York City Centre.

This is an excellent firm that continues to expand quickly, grow their team and nurture some of the best talent in Yorkshire.

The Client Manager roles will include the following responsibilities:

  • Selling services to existing clients / spotting opportunities
  • Managing their clients to ensure that the practice is giving "world-class" service
  • As a Client Manager you will be aware of our systems and processes and have regular contact with clients in a pro-active way.
  • Communication skills are vital in building relationships with clients and by developing a full understanding of the business needs of a client we can spot opportunities to help clients grow and develop.
  • Managing their workload to ensure that targets are met
  • Client Manager will lead a dedicated team of people delivering our cloud based services.

This provides clients with high levels of accounting support and up to date financial data - real time information for business owners and entrepreneurs.

The Practices total accounting solution covers everything from bookkeeping, management reporting and cash flow forecasting to year end accounts, tax and compliance.

We are heavily systemised and use leading edge technology to deliver our service.

Client managers lead a team of people and are responsible for allocating work efficiently.

Managing and developing our systems

Each Client Manager should fully understand the systems and follow them. The systems are there for a reason. However, the firm is constantly innovating and changing and therefore you will be part of the team helping us to develop and grow.

To be a client manager you must be a qualified accountant and:

  • Be technically competent
  • Have good time management skills
  • Have good delegation skills
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Be able to communicate
  • Have good people skills

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded Accountant who is looking to propel their career towards Partner level.
